Turn-Key Training

Dog training may not be rocket science but there is an art to it and it does require three valuable commodities: time, effort and know-how. Since these commodities can be rare, I offer a variety of services that allow you to hand over the reins to me. From basic obedience to “off-the-chain” behavior issues, Turn-Key options allow me to put in the initial time and effort and train the dog for you. This does not mean that you are uninvolved as you will  participate in transfer sessions to learn how to manage and maintain the desired behaviors at home.

Walk 'n' Train

Going for a daily walk should be the cornerstone of any dog's routine. It provides not only physical exercise but mental stimulation as well. Done properly, it will serve to establish your leadership, drain your dog's energy, and build a strong bond between you and your dog. Whether you are going away, have a hectic schedule, are unable to meet your dog's exercise needs or just want a well-trained, well-mannered dog, I am here to help. As a trainer I always suggest my clients walk their dogs at least 30 minutes everyday. That is not always possible so I offer structured dog walking services to get your dog out in the world, exploring and exercising. My walk 'n' train program will:

• Teach your dog to walk properly (no pulling)
• Bike with high energy dogs
• Incorporate obedience training on the walk
• Correct behavior issues on the walk (fear, aggression, lunging, barking, etc.)
• Walk and feed your dog while you are away

I charge $25.00 for a half hour Walk 'n' Train if you live in Morgan Hill, San Martin or Gilroy. Additional fees will apply outside these cities. I give a discount for clients who buy in bulk.

Board 'n' Train

Board 'n' Train is a service that I offer where I partner with a local boarding facility to board your dog, and conduct a daily training regiment to teach your dog obedience and behavior modification if necessary. On the day that I hand you back your well-trained dog, I will also spend some one-on-one time with you to transfer all the need-to-know information so you can carry on successfully at home. The length of the stay and the intensity of the training will depend on the dog's needs, temperament and your expectations.

Daycare 'n' Train

Daycare 'n' Train is a service that I offer where I partner with a local daycare facility to care for your dog during the day, while I conduct daily obedience training and exercise routines which can include agility, a run or walk. This is beneficial as it maximizes the time your dog spends in daycare to include training, structure and physical and mental exercise. You will notice the benefits at home as your dog will return a little more well-mannered and fulfilled every day.
